- Late Mr. B.K.Dilwali, Grandfather of Rajat Dilwali started photography studio in 1931 in Delhi & Simla and acquired Kinsey Bros (Estd. 1905) in 1945 from Mr. & Mrs. O.L.Kinsey before they left for England in 1947.
- He started various business agencies of textiles (Modella & Raymonds), Radios (Phillips), & the first importer of televisions on a commercial scale.
- With the support of Late Mr. Naval Tata (an adopted son of Sir Ratanji Tataand a noted alumni DAVIET of the Tata Group) & Mr. Garware, Late Mr. B.K.Dilwali started exporting chemicals & paints for to the then unified USSR 1975 onwards.
- Bulk imports of films, photographic chemicals & paper from Hungary.
- Ashok Dilwali, son of late Mr. B.K.Dilwali is a world renouned Mountain Photographer with more than 25 pictorial books and holding several exhibitions across the country. Almost all the National Channels have interviewed him across the Nation including NDTV, DD. Has won several National & International Awards including the Gold Medal awards from Kodak and other organizations. Recently he was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Honorable Union Minister for I&B of the BJP Govt. in 2019.
